Photovoice is a resource of the CCMA (Community Centre for Media Arts Inc.). We strive to meet your information needs in innovative ways while protecting your privacy at the same time.

CCMA collects user information on our sites via registration and traffic measurements, to more effectively tailor our services and presentation. Our methods are explained below, and will help you understand the choices you have for making information available to us.

What information does CCMA track?

Whenever someone visits our sites, we collect standard page view information in order to help us improve our sites and products so that we can best serve our clientele. CCMA reviews site traffic flow (i.e. frequently visited pages) and site/page visits, but we do not track profiles or log information of individual users unless they are registered. This information is never shared with third-parties.

Your information is safe with us.

CCMA does not share information collected on our sites – we will never provide information about you to other organizations or advertisers.

Please note that if you knowingly provide personal identifying information such as your user name or e-mail address in a chat or forum bulletin board area, you should be aware that the information provided could be collected and used by others visiting that area.

Member Registration:
We value online member registration at Photovoice because it helps us provide our valued clientele with the resources they really want and need. By registering, members receive job postings, email updates, chances to win free prizes, and opportunities to contribute to online forums and discussions. Members only provide basic information: a username and password, first name, and postal code. To protect the privacy of individuals, last names are optional. Any information gathered regarding our registered users will not be sold or passed to another outside agency.

Volunteer Registration:
If you are interested in becoming one of our many valued volunteers, and want to share your ideas and experiences with other community members through our sites, please e-mail us directly. This information is only shared with our Volunteer Coordinator and our Administrative Personnel. At no time is this information used for any other reason than to confirm your interest in volunteering with CCMA.
